Exciting time of the year!

For Stampin' Up! demonstrators and customers this is a most exciting time of the year.

  • We have 2 days left to place orders from the spring/summer mini.  There is no guarantee that items in it will be carried into the new catalogues but I have my fingers crossed for some things!

  • The Reason to Smile promotion of a free stamp set if you spend £60 has only 2 days left too!

  • The fabulous new Autumn/Winter catalogue is launched from the 1st September - a new, A4 sized 40 page catalogue packed with amazing Christmas, Harvest, Halloween and other festivals stamp sets, ribbons, papers and die cutting goodies.

  • The famous retired list is launched giving you 1 month to buy those stamp sets and other goodies you keep meaning to but now find won't be in the new catalogue.  I hope there's not too many on my list of 'must haves'as I also want money for the new catalogue!

  • Demonstrators get their first look at the new Annual Catalogue and a chance to purchase some of the items to tempt you with.

  • Demonstrators also get to buy the new in-colour inks, markers and cardstock!

Are you excited as I am? - I'm not sure if you can be - as I've seen the Autumn/Winter catalogue!  Oh boy, I think I'll host my own party at the rate my list is growing!  Does anyone want to join me?

Stamp Clubs!

Are you like me and have a list as long as your arm of crafty goodies you want but can't afford it all at once?  Would you like 'free' money to spend in the Stampin' Up! catalogues?  They why not join my Stamp Club?

The members of the group commit to spend a minimum amount each month which together totals £150 - the magic number for a hostess party!!  Each person in turn gets to be the hostess for this party and has an extra £25 (or more!) to spend on either the special hostess stamp sets or anything else at all in the catalogues.  Of course you can spend more than your minimum and you can collect orders from friends in your hostess month to boost your party income, earning you more to spend.

All Stamp Club members receive free catalogues during the club term - so this will be the Autumn Winter Catalogue AND the brand new Annual Catalogue due out on the 1st October (worth over £6 in total)  You may possibly get the Spring/Summer one too!!

How much will it cost?  That's up to you!  There are 3 options:

A)  Stampers 10 - Spend a minimum of £15 plus postage for 10 months. (need 10 people before we can go)
B)  Stampers 6 - Spend a minumum of £25 plus postage for 6 months. (needs 6 people)
C)  Stampers Quarterly - Spend a minumum of £37.50 plus postage in October, January, April and July. (needs 4 people)

Postage will be based on the number of people in the group to cover postage to me plus whatever it costs to post it to you. So for Stampers 10 this will be 50p min, Stampers 6 is 83p min and stampers Quarterly is £1.25

As soon as we have enough members we can get going - so what are you waiting for?!

Wish Tree Tags

A lovely basket of tags for a beautiful little girl's christening.

I can't wait to see a photo of these all hanging from the tree.  I'm so sad that I can't go to the christening but I'm away with 100 Brownies & Guides on pack holiday that weekend!

Happy 70th Birthday!

I don't know if you're aware but when you sign up to be a demonstrator you sign up under an existing demo who becomes your upline.

Me and my upline Maggie go back a few years now.  We got together through a scrapbooking forum and I became her adoptive 'mummy' to help her learn the forum and anything else relating to scrapping as she was new to it.  It also helped that she lives relatively close to me.  Fast forward and here we are - she's my 'mummy' in relation to Stampin' Up!  She's there and helps me with all aspects of being a demo - how to fill in forms, when we can order things etc.  She sent me a beautiful gift a couple of weeks ago of patterened paper samples - a great tool for me to use at workshops, classes and parties (I will show it to you at a later date so you can oggle at all the pretty papers!)

What I hadn't quite realised is what a great 'family' I was also signing up under with the Tartan Stampers!  Maggie's upline, my 'Grannie' (Sorry Dawn!) looks after all of her brood and we all chat, and share inspiration.  We have our own trainings - we have a sold out one coming up at the end of September that I can't wait for.  We even have our own mini conventions too - a retreat centering round Stampin' Up! and fun.

These are all fun benefits of joining Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator and come in addition to the discounted supplies for yoruself and the chance to earn not only some extra money but incentive trips like the one just announced to the Western Carribean in 2014!

How can you say no to all that?!  Contact me and I can be your 'Stampin' Up! mummy'!  I will help you choose your starter kit and fill in the forms.

I can't leave you without a card to see - another oldie off my SD card.  It's only when I look back like this I can see actually how many orders I actually do!  A pretty 70th Birthday card using peg stamps in delicate colours.  I love these stamps as you don't have to worry about placement or overlapping.

Oldies but Goodies

More oldies that I found on the SD card!

This one uses the retired Beware Pirates! stamp set by Stampin' Up along with a computer printed sentiment and some old papers I had from costco years ago.

Remember this one from last year?  Well it was Sarah's birthday again so the owl was this year's card.

I love the owl punch as you can make him look so different each time depending on what colours you use for his tummy and eyes.  I've just finished making about 25 tags  with the little owls on for my craft stall.  It's seriously lacking in stock so I should get on with making lots more - and that's before I start making things for the Christmas season!!

New baby set

I was looking through my SD card trying to make more room on it to take photos of my son decked out in his scout uniform and kilt for an amazing trip to Switzerland and came across some cards I've not shown you.  These are pre-Stampin' Up! demo status and use lots of non-SU stuff.  I don't see the point of throwing it away when it's still good stuff.  But, I'll replace it with SU stuff which is so easy to use as it's all colour co-ordinated for you!

This was a set of digi print Thank You cards in a giftbag for my daughter's teacher who was leaving to have a baby last year, with a co-ordinating card.  Digi files are so easy to use, especially when you want many of the same design.

This one is a cross between a bit of digi with the fireplace, some old papers and decoupage'd doggies.  The brief for this was a christmas card with a scottie and westie dog on.  I'd had these decoupage sheets for ages so it was great being able to use them at last!
